Fantasy Lingerie, 7324 Garners Ferry Road: fall 2009 3 comments
Happy Halloween!
I guess there won't be any "Naughty Nurses" getting their costumes here this year though -- The "fantasy" has fled.
I don't know what this building was built for, but clearly it predates Fantasy Lingerie. I don't know how long Fantasy was there, though I think it was at least five or so years. The general area seems to be rather blighted with Maurice's next door recently closing, and lots of other empty storefronts nearby.

Others recall the building being a Doctor's Care.

The Fantasy Lingerie building you have pics of was actually Kut Rate Fashions back in the 70's and maybe into the early 80's. They sold basically "seconds" of branded clothing. May have had a double seam or bad stitching etc. You could get decent stuff at low prices. just had to hope nobody noticed the possible flaw that sometimes was evident but only if you looked close. anybody remember this place?

Cannot recall what was in the 'Fantasy' building. Google showed Warehouse of Cars. Just noticed that the trailer that used to be LR motors is behind the building visible from Asbury. LR motors was at GF and Patterson.
