I noticed a few months ago that this little building on Two Notch Road, at the bottom of the hill between Pinestraw Road and Pine Belt Road, was now a Nationwide Insurance office. I see this month that they are moving to another location on Two Notch, leaving the building vacant again.
Insurance is usually a pretty staid business (unless you are AIG..), but this location has a somewhat racier past. In particular, back in 1987, you might have found the address listed under Escort Services:
The next iteration was a perfectly normal used car lot, except I always found the name, still on the shed out behind the main building, just a bit ironic:
UPDATE 20 December 2011 -- The Tonya D. Parks Nationwide has now moved into this place, following the other Nationwide office:

When I first came to Columbia, the sign outside this establishment touted "The Atlantic Social Club." What I'm not real sure about is whether the sign was blue or the building--or both. But I do have a blue memory about this blue business. Later, the sign was changed to "Sandy's," but I don't recall whether or not they kept "Social Club" on the new sign. The car businesses have been there since about 1990.

i had a girlfriend that lived in this house. the one next to it was a massage parlor . the building behind it was put there by the current owner . he needed a address for his wholesale car buissness , he use to have a retail lot in the front building.
across ferrell dr was a barbershop. i was a shoe sine boy there in the late 60'scarl

Using the links Ted provided under Tonya's Nationwide Insurance post I ended up here.
As Homer mentioned in an earlier post, I am just as twisted as he is. With that said one may or may not find the humor that I see here.
I find it amusing that this was once a escort service and then it became BJ Motors. The name had changed but obviously the service was the same.
