Il Bucato replaced Ed Robinson Laundry & Dry Cleaning in late 2020 after the worst of the pandemic, but when running a take-out restaurant still made sense. Looking at the Google reviews, it appears to have had a pretty good run up until the past few months, when a lot of reviews mentioned staffing issues. There was also one gentleman called out by name as exemplary, and then a few reviews later there is one (purportedly) from him, saying that he was moving on.

I can't find anything official online about the closing, but here is an article from ColaDaily about the opening.

  1. I always loved this place. Their basic recipe for pizza was so incredible. It seemed like they always had under-investment in staff, though. This restaurant had the same owner as Blue Marlin, if I'm not mistaken.

They had about 50% error rate with my orders - whether it was miscalculating prep time by an hour or more, or failing to mention out of stock ingredients. They eventually moved to internet only, and disconnected the phone. The few times I reached out privately on facebook, they were apologetic and cordial, and made it right. But the issues never got fixed. I do remember when the younger manager got hired, he made a big difference!
