Commenter MB reports that Liberty Pizza in the old Pop's location is closed. After peering inside, I would like to ammend that report: Liberty Pizza is not mearly closed, but truly most sincerely closed:

  2. Hey Ted - I wonder what was in this place when the walls were covered with the musical motif as evident in a couple of the pictures. Does anyone happen to know?

I hope they will salvage the metal ceiling. I have always loved the look of those......

  3. I've never been to New York but the best New York style pizza I ever had was at a little pizza shop in Springfield Vermont. Almost every place I ate in Vermont had really good food, a lot of great Micro Breweries as well. One Beer I remember that was particularly good was Catamount Pale Ale, brewed in Windsor Vermont by Catamount Brewery. I believe they have since been bought out by Harpoon Brewery of Boston. I was in Vermont for one month on business, at night we would travel the state checking out different Beers, Ales and Lagers.

  4. I should mention Vermont is the epitome of L.L. Bean country.
