Fountain Of Youth Child Development Center, 5321 Farrow Road: 2012 2 comments
I first wrote about this building on Farrow Road in the closing for the storied Fountain Bleu Club back in 2009, when the first two pictures above were taken.
Riding down that stretch last weekend, I noticed that the Fountain Of Youth Child Development Center (whose name harkened back to the original club) is now also gone. Looking in some phonebooks, I would say it closed in 2012, and the building is now for sale.

I missed Fountain Of Youth Child Development Center. When I started in 2003, my mother was here to see Mrs. Peggy Wilson after I had fun at Anna Boyd School. I watched TV with the Afterschoolers, Played at the Playground outside, played blocks, coloring, sang the Pledge of Allegiance, ate lunch, take a nap, and played games.

I can't place this building.
I hardly ever take Farrow road to anywhere.
I probably use Farrow once every two or three years.
The last time was three years ago when I purchased a double wall oven from a guy that had an appliance business off Farrow. He had a brand new Kenmore, still in the box for $400.00. The same one sells at Sears for over $2000.00.
I'm still wondering about that. Hmm..

@Badger - There is a part that I left out on purpose. There was a sticker on the box that was there when I first looked at it. When I went to back my truck up and started to load the oven the sticker was gone. He removed the sticker while I was backing up my truck, like he had not noticed it before I looked at the oven. If I told you what the sticker said you would wonder also. I'm not going to say what the sticker said because I may incriminate myself.

There is a daycare along Farrow Road that displayed a banner entitled "I am somebody" and it spoke to a bunch of different ideals they try to teach and I've seen it riding down Farrow Road and this makes me wonder where this place is in relation to that one...
