Starbucks has now moved from its original Woodhill location by Panera Bread down to the corner formerly occupied by Qdoba.

The new location gives it a drive through window, but perhaps more importantly in my view, moves it away from Panera. It has never made much sense to me to have a coffee and pastry shop located... right next to a shop that sells better coffee and pastries in a more comfortable setting. Without the drive-through all they had going for them was staying open a little later.

  1. I have never been to a Starbucks. When I drink coffee, I want a good roast and black.
I have a Quisinart coffee maker with water filter.
I like my coffee strong and black. I use Duncan Dounuts coffee.
My wife, she puts so much cream, sugar, sweet & low, milk and Coffee Mate Crème Brulee in her coffee, I don't think she can taste the coffee.
She might as well have a milkshake.
Mmmm..... Milkshake, That's the ticket. Homemade, If you like milkshakes and do not know how to make one at home, you are missing out. Let me know, I'll tell you how I make mine.

  2. I had to stop making milkshakes at home because of all the boys showing up in my yard. Sorry...I couldn't resist. LOL

  3. I feel like the only person who has a hard time thinking of a beverage Starbucks serves that I'd drink...

  4. @Andrew - you're not the only one. I've never been much of a coffee drinker, and all of their drinks seem really complex to me. If I'm gonna have whipped cream on something and pay $5+ for it, it'd be a banana split.

  6. I like Starbucks well enough in general, but somehow I have a 20+ mile commute from one side of Columbia to the other without passing by or near a single one, so it's rare I stop in.
