Building, 8707 Percival Road: 2000s(?) 5 comments
This building on the north side of Percival Road, has kind of a "church" look to me, but there's no steeple, and no signage of any kind. I would expect more windows in a church as well..

I think it might have been a church in the past ten years or so, but if it's the same place I'm thinking about it was. . . an accountant! Robert Heard CPA, if I recall correctly--and for many years. Thought it was strange that an accountant would have a church looking building, but, then again, maybe it's not so unusual. I did find an obit for Robert Heard from a few years ago, so I'm guessing he probably had retired--or who knows, maybe he was working til the day he died!

The only address I can find (with the resources I have at home) for Robert Heard CPA is "66 Percival Plaza", which I can't pin down to an actual location. It makes me wonder if this other place on Percival was "Percival Plaza".

I've seen that building many times. It sure looks like a church, but it's an awfully skinny church!! Two-seater pews??

I'm pretty sure about this location having been a "Heard" building--but I also think you're right about that other building having some association with Heard, and at least temporarily being called "Percival Plaza." I've come up with possible addresses of 2935 Percival (resonable) and 3007 Percival. Now, the latter would be odd and out of sequence--but I've seen that happen before--and maybe that's why it was abandoned--no one could figure out where it was!

Definitely a church.
