Tex Beneke was a sax player & vocalist with Glenn Miller, probably most famous now for singing "Chatanoga Choo Choo", but he had his own band after Miller died. The MOdernaires were a close harmony group that also sang on a lot of the Miller records and then went out on their own as well, so this record was a bit of a Miller alums reunion.
I did listen to my folks Miller records, but originally found this in a bargain bin in the Russell House bookstore if memory serves. (I could be wrong about that). Lots of people have done the song, but I think Beneke's vocals suit it very well.

Not familiar with The Modernaires, but thank you Ted. Was this something your parents played long ago?
