La Cazuela Tex-Mex Buffet, 3920 Platt Springs Road: July 2023 4 comments

I was not really aware of La Cazeula, driving that section of road very infrequently, though I must have seen it a number of times.
It appears to have been a largely lunch oriented buffet operation, which will be replaced by another Mexican restaurant soon.

This does not at all surprise me. Their food was not good. It just wasn't. The guacamole was awful and their queso seemed like it was watered down.

The new restaurant has opened here. It's called Agave Azul and does not have a buffet.

We ate here a few times. Great food and service, but they set out small quantities of most buffet items. People were often waiting for more of something. I wonder if the new restaurant will be another attempt at a buffet.
