There was a place in Camden on US-1 that used to do the same thing, though I'm not sure how being able to put a car on a stick indicates the same skills needed to *fix* a car..

  1. You've got to love any place that will jack an old car up on a pedestal. It reminds me of the old comedy flick 'Used Cars' with Kurt Russell.

  2. The place on US 1 in Lugoff has a car on the roof. It's still there.

  3. On the roof.. Yeah that sounds right on reflection. That's still there!? It's been since the late 60s or 70s at least!

  4. The garage in Lugoff with the car on top used to belong to my great Uncle Herbert Frye Boykin. It was a studebaker repair shop.
