Fred Anderson Toyota, 2136 Sunset Boulevard: May 2021 4 comments
Some time ago, the Toyota Center franchaise moved from Airport Boulevard to Sunset Boulevard and branded as Fred Anderson Toyota. As reported by commenter Alan, the franchaise is now Peter Boulware Toyota. I can't find any media stories about this online, but it apparently happened around May of 2021. Fred Anderson appears to still have dealerships in at least Charleston & Raleigh.

Hadn't heard about this. Anderson appears to have sold this franchise point to a former NFL player that has stores in the Tampa area.

When it was "Toyota Center", they ran at least a half-way decent business.
When it became "Fred Anderson Toyota", multiple independent sources have shared with me tales of woe (and, to put it mildly, underhanded business practices). I never trusted the smarmy grin on that kid's face in their tv ads...
Experiences like what @Fish details above were/are common.

Well, I actually had really good service from them when it was Fred Anderson. Always gave me a really good deal on demagnetizing my floor mats, topping off my blinker fluid, and replacing any defective volts in my 12-volt battery.

My cousin brought a car during the transition and they lost all the paperwork ... She's having to sue ... Don't waste time dealing w/ these a*sclowns when there are plenty of other Toyota stores in the Midlands ... Just my 2 cents ... Fish
