After Steak & Ale closed, this building was split into two suites. The suite on the right side was Buster's Bistro and then I believe a health insurance brokerage while the suite on the left side was The Turning Pointe danceware. Now they have left for a new home at 1030 Harden Street, the old Cribb's Bakery location.

Cottle Strawberries maintains a produce stand on the lot during the Spring, but otherwise I believe the property is now untenanted though it does appear to have been sold so something new should be coming soon.

  1. Lexington Medical bought this building, I assume it will be their next expansion into Richland County at some point.

  2. FYI--the Marlboro Inn East motel just west of this location has closed and is boarded up. I wonder if Lexington Medical Center bought that property too? Haven't seen anything in the news yet about it closing.

  3. Todd, I had the same thought when seeing the boarded up hotel and posted about it on “have your say.” Since then Richland County has updated property information and Lex Med bought the Marlboro Inn property on 6/8/2022.
