One Taco, Two Taco, 5225 Sunset Boulevard Suite A: December 2017 4 comments
According to the pictures from October 2016 above, One Taco Two Taco opened on 20 October 2016 in the former Buddy's Saucy Dogs location. From the notice posted on the door in the pictures below, it appears they lasted into November or December of 2017. I like tacos, but it's far enough away from me that I never go the chance to stop by.

This place was a major misfire. Sandwiched in between Moe's on one direction and Salsaritas on the other (both of which do good business) and as the above commenter said, the times I gave this place a try, the food tasted "off." Not to mention it was around $2-3 more costly than either Moe's or Salsaritas and it doesn't take a genius to figure out it wasn't going to make it.

Closed Dec. 10 per an article in The State newspaper.
Not sure if I can post a full weblink here. So, google the terms "site:www.thestate.com One Taco, Two Taco" to find it.

According to a recent article in The State, this closed because on of the business owners died. THe other owner, who had previously owned Rue 77 on Assmebly Street is now in the process of opening RF's Corner Grill in the Food Lion shopping center behind the Lexington Main Street Post Office. The restuarant will open at the end of the shopping center next to the Music Supply. I am not sure what used to be in that location. For some reason I was thinking the Music Supply had used the space for some of its music lessons.

I am not really surprised they closed. I stopped in once and I was not impressed. They were trying to be like Sure Fire Taco on Gervais Street, but the taste and the quality were just off. I am actually surprised the lasted as long as they did. There were rarely any cars in the parking lot whenever I went by. Even when I stopped, I think there was only one other person in the restaurant.
