Waffle House, 1036 South Lake Drive: Early 2022 (Open Again) 2 comments

I've never been to this Waffle House at I-20 & South Lake Drive, but I assume it was, you know, a Waffle House, reliable for what it does. It appears that this one is getting the same gut & refit treatment that the one by Texas Roadhouse on Two Notch is getting.

Folks this Waffle House is back in business...

This Waffle House was for a while the only one in the Midlands to host the Valentine's Day steak dinner (I think there is now a second one that participates.) My partner and I enjoyed about 4 of them and had a great time. The staff really went all out to make it a fun evening. I'm glad to see them getting a facelift and look forward to joining them next Valentine's Day!
