Airport Jewelry & Pawn, 2308-G Airport Boulevard: 2000s 1 comment

A little googling establishes that this corner suite in Airport Plaza was a pawn shop -- not too surprising given the bars on the windows. For some reason, can't find it in any of my phonebooks, so I don't have a real closing date.

This space and the space to the right of it were combined and it was a billiard place back in the early 90s. I can't remember the name of it for anything right now, but I used to go there and play pool with my high school boyfriend quite a bit. I remember the juke box used to be set to play "You Never Even Called Me By My Name" by default. Yes, I remember that but I can't remember the name of the place. Old age sucks...LOL
