Bobby's Shoe Repair, 4720 Forest Drive: Fall 2021 2 comments
Apparently Bobby's has been closed for about a year, but I never noticed it because the signage is still up, both on the storefront and the plaza road sign.
I used Bobby's several times for minor repairs on various pairs of Sebago Docksides, which I tend to hang onto (especially as they are no longer available), and was satisfied with the work. I believe that with the recent closing of Jimmy John's, this little plaza (which does not seem to have a name) now has three vacancies.

I am sorry to find Bobby's Shoe Repair closed. Bobby was a great business man and always did a good job on shoes, belts, purses or anything I needed repaired. He moved around over 50 years while in business and I am sad to learn his business reputation was not upheld in the manner in which he served all of his customers. I'm not sure when he passed away or what happened to his business, but I'm glad to know he's not here to read the terrible reviews from customers. He worked so hard all his life to keep his customers happy. He was a friend in deed.

Bobby's must have been there for over 50 years because there has been a shoe repair place in that mall as long as I can remember.
