Gradually it seemed we moved away from white-bread a bit, and <i>Roman Meal<\/i> became our staple.  Nowdays I tend to go with something denser like <i>Arnold's<\/i>.  Still, I was rather shocked to find that <i>Merita<\/i> was part of the <i>Hostess<\/i> collapse (along with <i>Wonder Bread<\/i> and <i>Butternut<\/i>, which we never bought).
