{"id":5948,"date":"2012-06-05T17:29:25","date_gmt":"2012-06-05T22:29:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?p=5948"},"modified":"2022-02-24T23:41:31","modified_gmt":"2022-02-25T04:41:31","slug":"program-note-today-is-street-day-for-the-new-beach-boys-album","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?p=5948","title":{"rendered":"Program Note:  Today Is Street Day For The New Beach Boys Album!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>But I got mine yesterday!<\/p>\n<p>Since I reviewed <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?p=5690\">their 50th Anniversary Tour show in Atlanta<\/a>, I've been waiting for the accompanying album <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B007U1FEJE\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=columclosi-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B007U1FEJE\">That's Why God Made the Radio<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=columclosi-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B007U1FEJE\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>.<\/p>\n<p>I am happy to report that it is a \"real\" Beach Boy's album, much moreso than 1992's lackluster and Brian-less <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B000001YJH\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=columclosi-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000001YJH\">Summer in Paradise<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=columclosi-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B000001YJH\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/> which heretofore had been the group's swan-song.  The songs are all new, and Brian is fully involved.  Is every one a gem?
