In fact they mailed out one <i>this<\/i> spring and I was considering it though I ended up using the <i>AARO Rental Center<\/i> on Two Notch instead.<\/p>\n<p>Really, when I think about it, I'm not sure why the place lasted as long as it did.  <i>Sears<\/i> at the mall certainly has the space in the auto bay to do that sort of repair work there if they want to, and I'll bet the same is true of K-Mart as well -- there really wasn't a good reason for having three seperate buildings on Parklane.<\/p>\n<p>I notice that <i>Sears<\/i> still refers to <i>Columbia Mall<\/i> rather than <i>Columbia Place<\/i> -- good for them!<\/p>\n<p><b>UPDATE 29 February 2020<\/b>:  Add tags, map icon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/8328+Parklane+Rd,+Columbia,+SC+29223\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/pix\/misc\/world_map_icon.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Sears Service Center used to mail out \"lawn mower tuneup\" cards every spring, and I took my mower there several times.
