I wasn't really looking for Wildewood Centre Drive<\/i> per se, but was trying (unsuccessfully) to get to another location which will be a post someday soon. However, what I found back there was kind of interesting in a depressing way.<\/p>\n

Wildewood Centre Drive<\/i> intersects Clemson Road just north of I-20, and thereafter parallels I-20 stretching west from Clemson Road.<\/p>\n

I parked my car at a medical building and walked almost to the end of the road. This is the view looking back up the road (facing east):<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Note the suburban sidewalk, now washed over with erosion. In fact there is a lot of erosion from washouts that haven't been taken care of in a couple of years.<\/p>\n

This is the non-paved continuation of the road after the ending traffic circle. It continues on into the woods a little way until it runs into the next property:<\/p>\n

This is standing in the woods, looking back east at the end of Wildewood Centre Drive<\/i>. Note the optomistic infrastructure in the form of a fire hydrant far from any building:<\/p>\n

This is walking east from the end of the road back to the part which was actually built. Notice the island in the middle of the street. I believe this marks the end of the commercial area and was intended to separate a residential area, which would have been gated:<\/p>\n

I wonder how SCBT<\/i> feels about all the financing they provided now?:<\/p>\n

I believe these gates would have originally met in the middle of the street at those arms, blocking access to the unbuilt, west, portion of Wildewood Centre Drive<\/i>. Presumably after the build out they would have been replaced by some sort of keypad access gates as in Bellclave<\/i>:<\/p>\n

Continuing east, part of this building is actually occupied by, I believe, a urology clinic:<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

There is also a working school back here:<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Again continuing east, we come to the commercial buildings which were built out but almost completely unoccupied:<\/p>\n
