I also did one for <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?p=119\">the Sparkleberry Crossing location<\/a>, and this one makes three.<\/p>\n<p>It's a shame because I really like the food at <i>Al-Amir<\/i> -- the Damascus bread, tabouli, hummus and falafel are all very good.  Luckily, they still have locations on Main Street by <i>Moe's<\/i> and at Sandhill in the old <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?p=425\">Shane's Rib Shack<\/a> location.<\/p>\n<p>This closing had a <i>very<\/i> fast turn-around.  I know I ate at this <i>Al-Amir<\/i> sometime in February, and now it is not only closed, but re-opened as a burger and pizza place called <i>Stinger's<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>(Hat tip to commenter E.J.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The closing for The Devine Street Al-Amir was the first one I ever posted on this blog.
