After that, it started to set up as a <i>Blaney's<\/i>, a local wing chain with several Midlands locations.<\/p>\n<p>It may be too soon to apply the \"Never Opened\" rubric, but given that the Fire Marshall considers this a vacant building, and given that the posted door notice is from October 2025 with a re-inspection mooted for December 2025 and that it is still posted, I would say that things don't look promising.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/2344+Broad+River+Rd,+Columbia,+SC+29210\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/pix\/misc\/world_map_icon.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This building, on Broad River Road just North of I-20, has featured here several times, first as an Applebee's and most recently as Tha River.
