That was followed by <i>The Stadium Steak House<\/i> and the first Columbia establishment to bear the name <i>Twin Peaks<\/i>, though the view was a bit more liberal there than at the current holder of the name.<\/p>\n<p>I want to say <i>Millennium<\/i> came in sometime in the '80s -- at any rate they had been there quite a while.<\/p>\n<p>Now the place, like seemingly every other address within miles, is to become student housing.<\/p>\n<p>You can read about it in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestate.com\/news\/local\/article314291051.html\">The State<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.postandcourier.com\/free-times\/food\/columbia-chinese-millennium-buffet-closed-sc\/article_47dda6b8-2225-43da-b5af-86e8917d1e48.html\">The Post & Courier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>(Hat tip to commenter Mr. Bill)<\/p>\n<p><b>UPDATE 22 January 2026<\/b>:  Actually the place had not been there as long as I thought.
