I went with <i>Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts<\/i> back in 2010 when <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?p=2556\">this location<\/a> moved from <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?tag=garners-ferry-road\">Garners Ferry Road<\/a> to here in the <i>Wal-Mart<\/i> plaza on <a href=\"\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?tag=10050-two-notch-road>Two Notch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The chain went into Chapter 11 back in March of 2024, coming out quickly, but slipped again in January of 2025, with the new owners moving to liquidate.  A chain in the process of winding down doesn't have a lot of good-will anyway, but they apprently just lost a bit more in deciding they would no longer honor gift cards.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestreet.com\/retail\/joann-is-going-out-of-business-but-theres-one-major-problem\">This story<\/a> lays out some of the details of the ongoing saga.
