I get the impression from the writeup that the facility existed before that, perhaps associated with a particular local Jewish congregation.  The center still has a web page <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mbkahn.com\/project\/jewish-community-center\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestate.com\/news\/local\/article297487413.html\">The State<\/a>, Richland County purchased the center in December of 2024, and opened it as <i>Richland County Wellness Center<\/i> in the same month.
