Apparently <i>Good Life Cafe<\/i> (or <i>Goodlife Cafe<\/i> in some usages) started out as a vegan place on <i>Main Street<\/i> then moved to this <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?tag=taylor-street\">Taylor Street<\/a> storefront last year, and slightly changed ist orientation to a \"plant forward\" restaurant, a term I had not heard before.<\/p>\n<p>Although they have now closed their doors, several other restaurants with the same ownership remain open, and their closing sign suggests <i>1624 Bistro<\/i> on Main as a source for some <i>Good Life<\/i> favorites.<\/p>\n<p>You can read stories about the closing from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestate.com\/news\/local\/article293940279.html\">The State<\/a> & <a href=\"https:\/\/www.postandcourier.com\/free-times\/food\/columbia-sc-good-life-cafe-closed\/article_a7bec036-8a3b-11ef-ab88-4ff23ece7a44.html\">The Free Times<\/a><\/p>\n<p>(Hat tip to commenter Larry)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/1216+Taylor+St,+Columbia,+SC+29201\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/pix\/misc\/world_map_icon.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here's another place I was completely unaware of.
