I believe the spot is now occupied by <i>Tsunami<\/i>, though I could be behind on that as well.<\/p>\n<p>There's not a lot of information online, but the place is referred to in the past tense in this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestate.com\/news\/business\/article77310822.html\">2016 State article<\/a>, so it was definitely gone by then.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.postandcourier.com\/free-times\/archives\/headliners-closes-the-mill-starts-up\/article_4ead57ce-4400-537a-a194-168b71dec973.html\">This<\/a> <i>Free Times<\/i> article suggests that the club shared ownership with the now demolished <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?p=9757\">Pure Ultra Lounge<\/a> on <i>Berryhill<\/i> and featured an Urban playlist.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/700+Gervais+St.,+Columbia+SC,+29201\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/pix\/misc\/world_map_icon.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just ran across these pictures of Tabu at 700 Gervais Street, and realized I hadn't seen that locomotive in a good while.
