The back building, with the huge flag which has flown for many years is still there, and appears to be <i>Jim Hudson Chevrolet<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>As nearly as I can determine the vacant building was first <i>Capitol Hyundai<\/i> and then <i>Stivers Hyundai<\/i>.  It appears that <i>Capitol<\/i> closed sometime before 2020 (though their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CapitolHyundai\/\">Facebook<\/a> is still up) and <i>Stivers<\/i> took over the franchaise after that.  Apparently they recently built a site on <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?tag=farrow-road\">Farrow Road<\/a> and have moved out there.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/101+Newland+Rd.+Columbia,+SC+29229\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/pix\/misc\/world_map_icon.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I noticed while I was driving Clemson Road to I-20 recently that the front building on this long-time auto lot appeared to be vacant.
