Of course roast-beef is not a favorite of mine anyway, and I've never set foot inside one of these stores.  This one is between <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?tag=broad-river-road\">Broad River Road<\/a> on one side, and <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?tag=diamond-lane\">Diamond Lane<\/a> on the other.  For most of its existence, it was accessible from both streets, but in recent years, the church which bought <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?tag=intersection-center\">Intersection Center<\/a> has been closing off pass-through access from their side.<\/p>\n<p>I believe all of the restaurants on this stretch have now either closed, or moved on from their original brands.<\/p>\n<p>(Hat tip to commenter Homer)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/1939+Broad+River+Rd.+Columbia,+SC+29210+\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/pix\/misc\/world_map_icon.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I never realized until quite recently that the name of this place announced the specialty.
