They announced in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestate.com\/living\/food-drink\/article239949563.html\">early February of 2020<\/a> that they were terminating regular meal service, but would still be open for special events.  By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wltx.com\/article\/news\/local\/bone-in-bbq-to-close-for-good-at-bull-street-location\/101-58e2408b-7551-442a-95f5-66c82e6ee244\">the end of the month<\/a> that had changed to being completely closed, though they would still be doing catering.<\/p>\n<p>I took these pictures on 13 September 2020, and while I was driving around the <i>State Hospital<\/i> area, I noticed a burnt out looking building and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wltx.com\/article\/news\/local\/columbia-fire-crews-battle-flames-at-babcock-building\/101-b729f4b3-4bc3-4e7f-a049-8a1a74eb0727\">WLTX<\/a> news crew.  Apparently someone set the old <i>Babcock<\/i> building on fire Saturday morning.
