This whole little hilltop complex on Hardscrabble Road<\/a> is now empty. I really like the glass block tower.<\/p>\n

ColaDail<\/a> reported on the closing of the main, video rental, portion of the building back in May, and I have used that 17 May 2020 date in the post title. It seems to me this was one of the last large video rental stores in the area, and outlasted Blockbuster<\/i> by many years.<\/p>\n

Commenter Bethany reported on 30 May that the Firehouse Subs<\/i> here was closed as well.<\/p>\n

DigitalDoc<\/i> has not closed, but has relocated to 921-G Longtown Road.<\/p>\n

As I said, I like the building, so I would prefer to see something new go in rather than it be razed and rebuilt. On the other hand, it is kind of moot for me, as I find getting out to this area is really as hard or harder than getting to Camden.<\/p>\n
