It's been quite a while since I was at the mall last, so I'm just tagging the date as 2018 for lack of anything more precise.  I presume this <i>China Max<\/i> was connected with <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?p=9704\">the China Max at Richland Mall<\/a>, but I don't know for sure.<\/p>\n<p>What I find especially interesting is the sign proclaiming that the place will soon be a <i>King's Pizza<\/i>.  This pizza chain seems to be making a big splash all of a sudden, with a store on Forest Drive in the former <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?p=15451\">Charlie's Wings<\/a>, one opening here, and one opening in the old <a href=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/wordpress\/?p=13810\">Chickadee's Diner on Marshall Street<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/7201+Two+Notch+Rd,+Columbia,+SC+29223\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/columbiaclosings.com\/pix\/misc\/world_map_icon.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I noticed when I was in the Columbia Mall food court recently that China Max was closed.
