Somewhere.  Anyway, apparently the buildings at 2801 & 2835 were originally owned by <i>Continental American<\/i> which was bought out by <i>Aflac<\/i> in 2009.  At some point after that, <i>Aflac<\/i> moved their all their operations to either <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestate.com\/news\/business\/article59611376.html\">Laurel Street<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/columbiabusinessreport.com\/news\/real-estate-commercial\/70226\/\">Huger Street<\/a> depending on which report you read.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, the property was sold to <i>Devine Station LLC<\/i>, apparently for<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nmixed-use development that includes apartments and retail space\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I guess they are now getting started on that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I think I have a picture of this building standing..
