In the event, I wasn't able to get a good shot of the place for various reasons, but this store too is part of the chain's ongoing <a href=\"https:\/\/consumerist.com\/2016\/04\/01\/all-hancock-fabrics-stores-will-liquidate-close\/\">liquidation since their February 2016 bankruptcy<\/a> and will close soon.<\/p>\n<p>By the bye, the link above also links to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theonion.com\/article\/second-hour-in-fabric-store-nearly-kills-eight-yea-3793\">this piece<\/a> which is a pretty exact description of my childhood memories of fabric stores.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had done a closing for the Columbia Mall Hancock Fabrics but had not got around to dropping by the Harbison Court location until this last weekend.
