Monkey Joe's<\/i> is the second monkey themed kids' vene<\/a> to close in Lexington over the past few years.<\/p>\n

Maybe monkeys aren't such a good idea. Pandas or Koalas would be my choice..<\/p>\n

I've got a few bad pix of the place in operation that I'll dig up eventually, but these were taken a week after the place closed, but with all the accoutrements still inside.<\/p>\n

Several people mentioned this closing both as upcoming and accomplished in the comments, but my sister gave me a heads up before any of that.<\/p>\n

I believe the Monkey Joe's<\/i> off Clemson Road is still open.<\/p>\n
