The Taco cart was allowed under the rules...i purposedly avoided the place because of the stink the owner made. the menu looks like it was all over the place. need to have a focus to succeed.

I understand why they didn't want it. The point is that it was allowed by the existing rules, which the cart guy was making plans based on.

I guess none of you own an in-line restaurant. The Taco cart thing would piss me off as well if they were allowed to set up shop on the sidewalk in front of my brick-n-mortar eatery. There is a reason why you pay a premium for a location. Try and set up a taco cart in front of Williams Bryce, or the Colonial Center on game day.

I was less than enthusiastic about trying it due to the stink she made, but I did, and I was pretty let down - the food was OK but not great, the service was substandard, and it took around 30 minutes (seriously) to receive our food, despite the fact that the place was nearly empty.

Yah the good news is the Reno work they did on the place makes it a lot easier for new place to step in pronto. With a new restaurant opening across the street in the glass building this area will become more eatery friendly

I was one of the people who avoided the restaurant after the owner made a fuss about the food cart situation and like you feel that it would probably be a place I would have enjoyed. Hopefully another restaurant can easily slide into this space.
