folks, Moe's Southwest Grill is now open at this site and a nearby billboard indicates that Smash burger will be open in Mid-December. Both places will feature the Coco-Cola Freestyle with app. 120 beverage options.

That's what I thought too..it sat pretty much where Applebees is now..I dont remember what was next to it though. This would have been the early 80's (1981-1983) or maybe just a little after. The Drive-In was still across the street in '81 too, but it was torn down that same year and they built Family Mart. I wonder what's gonna become of the 50 year old Kmart building?

I remember watching my Dad fill up the car for 25 cents a gallon when I was small. I got my license during the time of the first gas crisis. I was pissed that the minute I got a chance to drive gas had gone up to 50 cents a gallon. 20 gallons for $10.00. Lord, those were the days....hahaha!!

I remember $20 being enough to fill my mom's 1987 Chevy Celebrity Station Wagon (and this was in the 90s).

My dad used to try to go to Hess stations because they made an extra effort to keep their stations clean when so many others weren't known for their cleanliness.
