Here's how they worked. If you wanted to drop several thousand on a flatscreen home theatre setup, the sales people had time for you. If you wanted something mundane like an MP3 player or a decent pair of headphones, good luck getting help.

I bought a 46'' television from them last July and paid for an extended warranty. I had no idea that the place was in trouble and would not have bought anything from them had I known so. The closing of Circuit City also blindsided me.

I never once went in the place. I didnt even know it was closed down, and i just drove past it today.

It was also in an awkward place to get to, which couldnt have helped.

I could never figure out what they sold. It looked like it was a car stereo place. I don't recall them adverstising anything.

I only went in there once, and was unimpressed. Their stuff was so far out of my price range it was ridiculous, and I'm always wary about audiophiles pushing magic boxes and wires that will allow me to hear music far out of the normal range of human hearing. The staff was knowledgeable, but no amount of knowledge was going to sell me a $2500 hand-made stereo amplifier. Yes, I am serious.
